Solvent Based Detergent Wax Removers

These are a blend of solvents, detergents and water and are normally used to remove spirit based waxes from wood and cork flooring. They are also effective on garage floors as the solvent content breaks down the oil and grease in the concrete and suspends it in the detergent.

When using this type of product it’s essential that a drier is used to
pick up the slurry as a mop rinsing tends to spread the emulsified
grease from one area to another.

They are particularly useful where non-flammable stripping has to be carried out.
